Acerca de HourIdler

Keep the hours going.
Your PC can stay off.

HourIdler runs lightweight Steam sessions on our servers. Pick the games, press start, and manage everything from the web dashboard.

Why it exists

Leaving a gaming PC running all night just to add Steam hours or wait for card drops never made much sense. Local tools work, but they still need your hardware and a process that stays open. HourIdler moves that job to a hosted service.

Once a session starts, the browser is only the control panel. Closing the tab does not stop it. If you open a game on your own PC, Auto-Restart waits and reconnects after you finish.

What actually runs

No game is launched. HourIdler signs in to Steam and reports the games you selected as active.

It does not join servers, play matches, unlock achievements, trade items, or touch your inventory. The Granjero de tarjetas uses the same kind of session, but farms eligible games one at a time so Steam can issue trading-card drops.

If you want the technical distinction between idling and anti-cheat, read the VAC guide.

Steam account access

QR login is the recommended option. You approve the connection in the official Steam mobile app, and your Steam password never enters HourIdler.

Password login is available for accounts that need it. Credentials and Steam session material are encrypted at rest and used only to run the sessions you request. Connected Steam accounts can be removed individually, and the profile page includes full HourIdler account deletion with a three-day recovery period.

Storage and retention details are listed plainly in the Política de privacidad.

Independent, not Valve

HourIdler is an independently operated service hosted in Germany. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation or Steam.
