How do I reset my password?

On the login screen, click Forgot password and type your email. We send you a link to set a new one. The link only works for an hour, so use it soon.

How do I add a Steam account?

From your dashboard, click Add Account. The easiest way is the QR code: open the Steam app on your phone, tap the QR scanner, and scan the code on screen. That's it - you never type your Steam password into us.

Is my Steam login safe?

Yes. With the QR code we never see your password at all. If you type it in instead, it gets encrypted and is never shown again. Idling doesn't get accounts VAC-banned either, since the games are never actually launched.

Can I sign in with Discord or Google?

Yep, both. The buttons are right on the login box. If you sign up that way you can still add a normal password later using the Forgot password link.

How do I link my Discord?

Open your profile and click Generate link code, then run /link with that code in our Discord server. You'll get the verified role and can start or stop your accounts straight from Discord.

How do I remove an account?

You can remove any single Steam account from your dashboard at any time - it wipes its saved login right away. Want your whole HourIdler account gone? Open a ticket and we'll take care of it.
