How do I reset my password?

On the login screen, click Forgot password and type your email. We send you a link to set a new one. The link only works for an hour, so use it soon.

How do I add a Steam account?

From your dashboard, click Add Account. The easiest way is the QR code: open the Steam app on your phone, tap the QR scanner, and scan the code on screen. That's it - you never type your Steam password into us.

Is my Steam login safe?

QR approval provides a token without sharing your Steam password. Password login stores the password encrypted at rest and decrypts it when authentication requires it. Hosted idling reports games as active without launching game executables; this is not a blanket guarantee against account restrictions.

Can I sign in with Discord or Google?

Yep, both. The buttons are right on the login box. If you sign up that way you can still add a normal password later using the Forgot password link.

How do I link my Discord?

Open your profile and click Generate link code, then run /link with that code in our Discord server. You'll get the verified role and can start or stop your accounts straight from Discord.

How do I remove an account?

Remove a Steam account from the dashboard to delete its stored login material. To delete your HourIdler account, use Profile → Account settings: idling stops and sessions are revoked, followed by a three-day recovery window before permanent database deletion. See the Privacy Policy for retention.
